🇪🇸 Una hermosa caminata a lo largo de la carretera inclinada te llevará a este lugar precioso y poco turístico. Recomendamos venir del Camí des Claperàs y, al subir, prestar atencion a los atajos que te permiten ascender a través de senderos y escaleras. Alternativamente, puedes ir en coche y (siguiendo las indicaciones) conducir hasta la cima.
Desde la explanada de "Es Puig de Santa Magdalena" con su pequeña Ermita tendrás unas excelentes vistas de la Sierra de Tramuntana con el Puig Major, de la zona interior de la isla y de la bahía de Alcudia. Hay también un restaurante con terraza, dónde se puede disfrutar de una típica cena mallorquina mirando la puesta del sol.
Cerca encontrarás el punto de partida de una caché múlti ¡que (en nuestra opinión) vale la pena!

🇬🇧 An enjoyable hike along the (steep) carretera will lead you to this pleasant and rather quiet place. We recommend to start from Camí des Claperàs and take the stairs as shortcuts between the serpentines. Alternatively you can go by car, following the signs all the way up to the parking lot.
From "Es Puig de Santa Magdalena" with its Ermita you will have a magnificent view on the island, including the Tramuntana mountains with the Puig Major. You can also have a typical Mallorquan dinner at the terrace of the Puig's restaurant and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the mountains.
Close-by you will find the starting point of a worthwhile multi-cache!

🇩🇪 In diesem Urlaub neu entdeckt - unser "Hausberg": Es Puig de Santa Magdalena.
Vom Cache aus noch die 86 Stufen der schönen Treppe hoch, und ihr seid am Kloster, von wo aus ihr einen beeindruckenden Rundumblick auf einen großen Teil der Insel inklusive Tramuntana-Gebirge und den Puig Major habt. Hier startet übrigens auch ein, wie wir finden, lohnender Multi! Ansonsten kann man von der Terrasse des kleinen Restaurants aus, bei einem typisch mallorquinischen Abendessen (Reservierung erwünscht!) den Sonnenuntergang über den Bergen genießen.
Ihr könnt mit dem Auto über die Carretera bis zum Picknick- oder nach ganz oben zum Parkplatz an der Ermita hochfahren. Oder (unsere Empfehlung) ihr wandert vom Camí des Claperàs aus die steile Carretera hoch und kürzt dabei die Serpentinen über mehrere Treppen-/Kletterpfade ab.
P.S.: Eigentlich kam es für uns nie in Frage, so weit weg von zuhause einen Cache zu legen. Aber jetzt hat es uns doch gepackt (wenn auch erstmal mit improvisierter Dose und Logbuch). Wir sind immer mal wieder hier, auf unserer Lieblings-Insel, und ansonsten hoffen wir (im akuten Wartungsfall) auf die tatkräftige Unterstützung unserer Mitcacher 🤗!
