Donald C. Reinhoudt Sr. served the community as a county legislator for district 2, a councilman on the Pomfret Town Board, a deputy supervisor for the Town of Pomfret, and an auditor for the Fredonia Central School District.
Donald C. Reinhoudt Jr., considered to be one of the greatest powerlifters of all time, was the world’s strongest man in 1979, world power lift champion for four years, and set and broke more than 28 world and national records during his career.
