The Peace Stupa is on a hill in the Park of Human Rights near
Zalaszántó.
This is a Buddhist shrine, which has been consecrated by the Dalai
Lama in 1993. It's a 30 metres high snow-white building with dome
on top. It is said there is a "tree of life" inside, and a gilded
Buddha statue outside. It's a resting place for tourists and is
accessible by car.
Even though it's located on a hill and the building is high you can
see only the top of it from a distance.
