*Please try to replace like Jackscruff and the CO did today (3rd Sept, 2019). When we found it, - it was backwards, off-centre. Log is not in the goodies box !*
My caches are named after songs by a singer/songwriter/musician I really admire ~ Neil Young. With over 90 albums since the late 60's he remains significant today in music, renewable energies, environmental issues, supporting those less fortunate and other charitable causes.
Round And Round (It Won't Be Long) is #19 in the series. I spotted these round circles on Google Earth and did a recon of the site. Excellent childrens playground with climbing structure, swings and a Zip line and thought this would be a good song for the name of this cache on many levels.
There are a number of ways to approach this GZ (Round and Round), some quite thick undergrowth and brush and trees. Be careful and more careful in Summer as it looks a bit Snakey 🐍 to me !!
Check out the alternative approaches. I recommend study shoes and long pants and sleeves - not for a casual find in bare feet or high heels. Your choice but I would not try this at night either.
You may even find some golf ⛳ balls that have stopped spinning Round and Round. I found 3 whilst doing the hide ! If you find any place them close by with a touch of camo.
There is a remote chance that some Gorilla 🦍 at the range will hit a golf ball over the fence and donk you ! I think I've done it 3 times in 5 years - it's 244m and then they still need to be flying at 50 feet above ground to get over that back fence.
Also on the Round and Round name ~ If you just stand behind the Golf driving range and listen you will hear all these little "ping" "clack" "pop" sounds of the golf balls being hit 250 meters away and then the occassional "plonk" "thud" of a ball landing near the back fence. Quite like rounds of ammunition being fired - quite surreal !
