The book that inspired this cache.
I have worked at the library for almost fifteen years, but I started going to the library when my kids were very little. I checked out a lot of picture books for them and we enjoyed sitting and reading together. Those are cherished memories. I bet most of you have similar memories as well. My kids are grown now and have moved on, but my love for picture books remains just as strong as ever. Everyday I'm at work I look at them. On many occasions I check them out, bring them home and savor the words and artwork therein.
Then I came across this book. Before I was even done reading it, I had the idea for this cache almost completely worked out. The book is obviously about geocaching, right? And this is only the cover. The inside pages with their intricate drawings, maps and thoughtful prose are delightful. Here is the picture I was going to use for this book, but I decided to name the cache after it instead.
