Askepot

Denne cacheserie er en hyldest til Walt Disney, manden som har beriget vores barndom med så mange fantastiske tegnefilm.
Askepot blev udgivet af Disney i 1950. Den er den tolvte Disney klassiker. Den blev nomineret til flere Oscars, bl.a. for sangen 'Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo'.
Askepots far en enkemand og gifter sig med den fine Lady Tremaine, som har to døtre. Da han dør et par år senere, begynder Lady'en og døtrene at behandle Askepot som en tjenestepige, alt imens de håner og nedgør hende. Hendes eneste sande venner er dyrene, især musene Tim og Bom.
På slottet er kongen irriteret over, at han prinsesøn ikke har lyst til at finde sig en kone. Kongen inviterer derfor alle landets ugifte piger til bal på slottet. Stedmoderen lover Askepot, at hun må tage afsted, men hun løber fra sit løfte.
Den gode fe hjælper Askepot og tryller en vogn, heste, kuske og en fantastisk kjole og sko frem. Dog ophæves fortryllesen til midnat.
Askepot og prinsen forelsker sig, men hun må storme hjem lige inden klokken slår tolv, men hun taber den ene sko på trappen. Derfor kan prinsen finde hende igen, da hun passer skoen, og de gifter sig til stor glæde for kongen og stor sorg for Lady'en.

Cinderella

Cinderella was released by Disney in 1950. It was the twelfth Disney Classic. It was nominated for several Oscars, among others for the song 'Bibbedi-bobbedi-boo'.
Cinderellas father is a widower and he marries the posh Lady Tremaine, who has two daughters. When he dies a couple of years later, te Lady and the daughters start treating Cinderella as a servant, all the while they are taunting and demeaning her. Her only true friends are the animals, especially the two mice, Jaq and Gus. At the royal palace the king is annoyed that his son, th Prince refuses to find a wife. Because og that, the king invites all unmarried women to a royal ball. The stepmothe promises Cinderella that she can go too, but she doesn't keep her promise. The fairy Godmother helps Cinderella. She magically makes a carriage, horses, coachmen, a fantastic dress and shoes appear for her. The spell will stop working at midnight though.
Cinderella and the young prince fall in love, but she has to rush home just before midnight, losing her shoe on the stairs of the palace. Beacause of the shoe, the prince is able to find her again, since she is the only one it fits, and they marry to great joy of the king and great sorrow for the Lady.
