Mickey og Bønnestagen
Denne cacheserie er en hyldest til Walt Disney, manden som har beriget vores barndom med så mange fantastiske tegnefilm.
Dette er den niende Disney Klassiker. Filmen blev frigivet i 1947. Den originale titel er 'Fun and Fancy Free' og bestod oprindeligt af en pakke med to små film. Filmen blev godkendt til produktion den 8. december 1941, dagen efter bombningen af Pearl Harbor. Samme dag overtog den amerikanske hær Disney Studierne og de skulle nu lave krigs propaganda, derfor blev filmen skrinlagt. Efter krigen var pengene små og derfor blev den lagt i en pakke med den lille film 'Bongo'.
Begge film er fortalt af Jesper Fårekylling og den indspillede 3.165.000 millioner dollars. I danmark blev den kun vist med Mickey og Bønnestagen, og den er baseret på den engelske folkehistorie: Jack and the Beanstalk.
Det er i øvrigt den sidste film, hvor Walt Disney lægger stemme til Mickey Mouse.
I en smuk dal, kaldet Lykkedal, bor en masse mennesker i frodigt land. Der spiller dagligt en harpe med en smuk melodi, som er med til at holde landet glad og frodigt. En dag bliver harpen dog stjålet, og landet bliver straks fattigt og intet kan gro. Indbyggerne er nødt til at flygte, fordi de sulter og til sidst er der kun tre tilbage; Mickey, Anders And og Fedtmule. De er så sultne og har kun en tyndt brød, hvilket får Anders And til at få et raserianfald. Mickey vil sælge deres sidste ko for at få mad. Fedtmule og Anders indvilger og fantaserer om det mad, de skal have. Da han kommer tilbage er det uden mad, men med en dåse magiske bønner. Så bliver Anders endnu mere rasende og kommer til at skubbe til bønnerne. Een af dem ryger på jorden og der vokser en magisk bønnestage frem, helt op til himlen gennem skyerne.
De tre venner forcerer bønnestagen og kommer op i et rige, hvor de er bittesmå. De finder et slot, hvor de også finder en kæmpe, som hedder William. De finder et kæmpebord med mad, hvor de kravler op for at spise. Ved et uheld havner Mickey midt i en sandwich, som kæmpen er ved at spise. Kæmpen opdager ham, og heldigvis vinder Mickey hans tillid.
Så opdager de harpen og finder ud af at kæmpen har spærret harpen inde for at have den for sig selv. Nu vil de befri den og skynde sig hjem. Det vil kæmpen ikke have, så han bliver gal. De forsøger at narre ham, men han finder ud af det og jagter dem.
Det lykkes dem at komme ned af bønnestagen og i sidste øjeblik få den hugget over, så kæmpen styrter i døden.
Da harpen kommer tilbage og spiller livligt over landet igen, så genopstår lykke og velstand.

This is the ninth Disney Classic. The movie was released in 1947. The original title is 'Fun and Fancy Free' and it originally consisted of two small animated movies. It was approved for production on december 8th 1941, the day after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The same day the amrican army overtook the studios and ordered Disney to make war propaganda for World War II, hence the movie was shelved. After the war, money was tight, and it was packaged with the minor movie 'Bongo'.
Both movies was narrated by Jiminy Cricket, and it grossed 3.165.000 dollars. In Denmark it was only shown with Mickey and the Beanstalk, and it is based on the english folkstory Jack and the Beanstalk.
It is by the way, the last movie in which Walt Disney voices Mickey Mouse.
In a beautiful valley, called Happy Valley, lives a lot of people in a lush land. Daily there is a harp playing beautiful music, it is keeping the valley happy and peaceful, and full of food and vegetables.
One day, the harp is stolen, and immediately the vally is poor and nothing grows. The residents must flee, because they are starving and in the end only three remains: Mickey, Goofy and Donald Duck. They are so hungry, and they only have a thin slice of bread, which makes Donald go nuts. Mickey wants to sell their last cow for food. Goofy and Donald agrees and they fantasizes about the food, they now are going to get. When Mickey returns it is without food, but with a can of magic beans. Donald now becomes even more enraged and accidently pushes the can over. One of them drops on the floor, and a magic beanstalk grows rapidly up towards the clouds and the sky.
The three friends are forcing the beanstalk and enters a kingdom in which they are tiny. They also find a castle, in which they find a giant, called Willie. The also sees a huge table with food, and they crawl upthere to eat. By accident Mickey ends up in a sandwich, the giant is about to eat. The giant discovers him and luckily Mickay gains his trust.
Then they spot the harp and it tells them, that it is the giant that has locked it up, because he want it for himself. Now they want to rescue the harp and hurry home. The giant doesn't want that, so he gets mad. They try to trick him, but he sees it and hunts them.
The three friends jump down the beanstalk and at the very last minute they chop it down and the giant plummets to his death.
When the harp is returned and it plays lively again, happiness and prosperity is restored.
