Placed at the entrance drive to this historic landmark. There is plenty of room to pull in and park off of SR 3, which is a busy highway. When pulling back onto SR3, it is better to manuever your vehichle around in the drive to face onto SR 3 to drive forward. Backing out can be a little tricky because it is a busy road. Be safe! Most days the property is closed, but the entrance drive is open (before there is a gate). Open seasonally for special events and on Saturday/Sunday from noon - 5 during warmer months. Entrance may not be available for the cache during snow covered roads or icy weather (entrance is on a decline). Cache is placed with permission. Enjoy the view. Happy Caching!
After signing the log and returning, please be sure the container CLICKS SHUT at the end. Sometimes it closes, or appears to be closed, but it isn't sealed tight unless the closure clicks.
