Geocache Description:

The South Country History Series is a new series of geocaches being placed at locations of rural schools, churches, cemeteries, cenotaphs, and former townsites in south central Saskatchewan.

The village of Congress was named by the CPR, which reached this location in 1917. The streets in this town are named after American presidents. This hamlet is still home to a large inland grain terminal.

Progress Hill School used to be found in the town as well.
