The South Country History Series is a new series of geocaches being placed at locations of rural schools, churches, cemeteries, cenotaphs, and former townsites in south central Saskatchewan.
Valor is a ghost town located just off the #13 highway. Its post office operated from 1912 into the 1960s. A one-room schoolhouse, long vacant, marks the place where this hamlet once stood. (One of the elevators can be found on a farm to the west, along the highway.)
