Geocache Description:

The South Country History Series is a new series of geocaches being placed at locations of rural schools, churches, cemeteries, cenotaphs, and former townsites in south central Saskatchewan.

"Wavy Creek" is a perfect name for a school that was once located near the Wood River, a very meandering river that leads to Old Wives' Lake. From 1920 to 1956, children of the area received their education at this one-room school. The building has now been moved to an area farm and is still being utilized as a workshop.
