Geocache Description:

The South Country History Series is a new series of geocaches being placed at locations of rural schools, churches, cemeteries, cenotaphs, and former townsites in south central Saskatchewan.

The Frenchmen Trail stretched from Mortlach to Gravelbourg. During the early 1900s, it was used by homesteaders to travel to and from the main rail line.

This trail marker was erected by participants who walked the Frenchmen Trail in August 2018.

There are some stickers placed in the cache for kids to trade.
