This is the southern edge of Phase 1 of the Rock Island Corridor Trail through Lee’s Summit. Rock Island Corridor is an ongoing development of a multi-use corridor that will eventually connect all the way down to the Katy trail in Windsor, MO. Plans have also been made to have this trail connect to the Truman Sports Complex and eventually into downtown Kansas City. Permission granted by Rock Island Corridor Trail Authority.
This cache is located near the end of the trail for now and the beginning of the “Greenwood Gap” that will eventually connect to the existing path in Pleasant Hill. Bring your own pen.
