Geocache Description:


Mark A. Metz grew up playing in this park with his little sister. At the age of 23 he and his wife would help clear weeds and brush from this park. Mark was involved in a motorcycle accident and died in April 1994 when a truck crossed the road in front of him. Neighbors and friends say he had a special quality about him and people just really genually liked him. He graduated from Nazareth High School and attended Lincoln Tech. This park brought so much joy to the Metz family while growing up and we hope you will enjoy it as well. Be sure to take a swing and feel the breeze on your face and rember the Metz family.

I am opening this Travel Bug and Geocoin hotel for business as a safe place to leave all TB's and coins so they may continue to travel and complete their missions that their owners have set. I have in the past collected several coins and bugs and either forgot them at home or in the car while caching. I intend to use this spot as a place people can trade TB's. Please be courteous to other cachers so they may find one to trade.
