Geocache Description:

The Heritage Centre situated at Granny’s Pool at the bottom of Harbour Road is considered the ecological and historical centre of the Village. The building was originally the National Sea Rescue  Institute base and is now the home of the St Francis Kromme Trust. The St Francis Kromme Trust was formed some thirty years ago to promote environmental awareness and to protect our heritage for future generations. The Community Garden, Two Harbours Walk and Romazini Valley, all under the custodianship of the St Francis Kromme Trust, are all worth exploring  to appreciate the beauty of this unique village.

Next to the Heritage Centre you will find Granny’s Pool, a quaint little beach. In the Heritage Centre there is also a little café that is open most days of the week.

The cache is hidden in quite a high place so you may need a tall person to retrieve it. When you have the cache in hand then please remember to open by twisting the coke cap NOT THE OTHER CAP, TWIST THE COKE CAP! Failure to do so may break the cache. Stealth is required so as to no attract attention.

After finding the cache please remember to twist the cap on very tightly and remember to hide it properly as well.

Anyway, Happy Hunting!
