The Lucky 7 series. Find seven cache types in a day!
The Lucky 7 series is deisgned as an easy introduction to the main cache types;
Virtual
Traditional
Multi
Mystery
Wherigo
Letterbox Hybrid
Earthcache
Each cache in the series is an example of one of the cache types represented by the icons. None is meant to be difficult; it's all about having a sample of the type. Perhaps you're new to caching and haven't come across some of the types yet. Or maybe you're more experienced, but haven't tried a particular cache type or have been put off by having trouble with the format, or difficulty encountered.
This Mystery Cache is an example of the Puzzle variant (they can also be Bonus Caches or Challenge Caches). So you solve a puzzle, which gives you the coordinates of the physical cache location. A feature of this type is that the cache page shows some coordinates, but they are not for the location of the container. They may be a parking area perhaps, or just a random spot nearby.
In this case, they are just a random spot.
I've tried to make the puzzle as easy as possible (I have much more challenging puzzles, but the point here is to try out the format).
The container will be found at:
N 53° 11.4AA' W 1° 5.9BA'
...where BA is the number of cache icons I illustrate above, multiplied by 8.
That shouldn't be too hard, but there is a checker here in case you don't trust your arithmetic!
