I am going to start a sports series with trivia questions from various sports. Last year, I published Baseball Trivia. This year, I am publishing Tennis Trivia. None of these questions should be too difficult if you have basic knowledge of tennis. If you don’t, all of these can be quickly answered online.
Final coordinates: N39 34.ABC W76 23.DEF
A= If a game does not go to deuce, how many points do you need to win per game to win the game?
B= Women’s tennis plays the “Best of X” sets. B equals X
C= A “set tiebreaker” is played to this number (Hint: this is different than a match tiebreaker, which varies among tournaments. “Set tiebreakers” are always played to the same number)
D= How many serves do you get per point to try to get the ball in? D is the number of serves/chances you have per point
E= What is it called when the ball hits the net on the serve, but still lands in. E is the number of letters in the word of this tennis term.
F= This is how many major tennis tournaments there are per year. May also be referred to as the Grand Slams.
At the final, it is a quick C&D in the usual location. Please bring a pen and hide as found.
