For my birthday and in honor of Searchlight Cadets, I am hiding this geocache. It is a small, waterproof, snap container that can only hold a log and a few items to trade. Just in case, please bring your own pen, as the small pen that I put with the cache might get easily taken.
Some of the history of where this cache is placed can be found at the following links.

This building is listed under “Forest Grove,” as that is where it came from, but it was relocated to this spot in Jamestown, MI. The people who saved this Train Depot Station, from being torn down, would like to have the funding to fully restored someday. In the meantime, it is still here for others to enjoy and learn about it’s history.
This geocache is located in a place that you can easily park and/or enjoy a nice walk. There is a park nearby that the kids can play at too. In the winter time, if the snow is too high, this geocache would not be available as it is at ground level.
(Make sure to walk all around the structure when searching as there is a special spot where we could fit and hide the container.)
