Geocache Description:

The Newport Coast Path stretches adjacent to the Severn Estuary from the Gwent Levels to the east of the city and close to Cardiff in the west. (The Gwent Levels are a designated Landscape of Outstanding Historic Interest due to the extensive archaeological remains in the area!) It links up with the Wales Coast Path, a national path which stretches from Chepstow in the South-East of Wales all the way around the coast of Wales to Cheshire in the North-East.

The cache hiding place is close to where the Newport Coastal Path and the Usk Valley Walk link up! The Usk Valley Path follows the River Usk through Newport and out to Caerleon.

The cache: you are looking for a medium sized cache labelled as an official geocache.

The area is best reached on foot or bike!

Stealth may be needed as it is a well used path and there may be Muggles about. Pencils are provided along with a tradeable swag!
