You're invited to the launch of the Fargo-Moorhead GeoTour, the first official GeoTour in the state of Minnesota and North Dakota!
Join us on Saturday, September 28 at 9:15 a.m. to pick up your passport, sign the logbook, enter to win some door prizes and enjoy some free donuts & coffee! All new caches will be published DURING the event so everyone will have a shot at nabbing a FTF. Whether you're a seasoned geocacher or brand-new to the hobby, we know you'll find something to love about our vibrant community at one of our 24 geocache locations. Once you finish your passport, you will receive one free GeoCoin commemorating your successful completion of the Fargo-Moorhead GeoTour [one coin per geocaching account, while supplies last]
Never been to Fargo-Moorhead before? (YAY!) Plan to spend some time at our Visitor Center (open until 6 p.m.) to find a whole host of other places to explore.
ABOUT THE GEOTOUR
For a Midwest city, Fargo-Moorhead's a little off-center. You might recognize the name from the cult classic film "Fargo" or popular series that features goofy accents, flat, white landscape, and the infamous woodchipper (we have the original on display!). While the accent is mildly accurate, and the land is flat, everything else about Fargo, and its two sister cities, is completely unexpected, or as we like to call it, North of Normal. Come see for yourself and explore Minnesota and North Dakota’s FIRST official GeoTour.
