I recently relocated and decided to place caches in this area. The Hays Brook area has several opportunities and appears underused. There are horse trails hiking trails and snowmobile trails to Hays Brook and Sheep Meadow, also Grass Pond. Some of the trails cross the Osgood River. Nearby Mountain Pond has camp sites and areas to launch a canoe or kayak. This cache is on the shortcut from the parking lot to the trail register. It is a small ammo box and contains various items. Have a good time.
