The Seattle Sensory Garden is designed for people of all ages and abilities to experience nature through their senses in therapeutic and life enhancing ways, offering the opportunity to learn how people with different abilities experience the world. It is also the location of a waypoint to a new, nearby Multi-cache!
In conjunction with United Way's Day of Caring, the Friends of the Seattle Sensory Garden is offering a community planting event. They have 225 sensory-friendly plants and trees that need to be integrated into the garden and they need everyone's help! Geocachers as well as muggles can attend, Please register here on the offical website so the planners know how many are coming for refreshments (doughnuts and lunch will be provided!)
Parking locations are attached - there are paid spots and accessible spots nearest the garden in the zoot lot, as well as free parking in the neighborhood and at Woodland Park.
