Stenkyrka hembygdsförening bildades 1931 och hade då 25 medlemmar. 2018 hade det ökat till ca 240 medlemmar och de har många olika aktiviteter.
Föreningen äger och underhåller bland annat de byggnader som man kan se i det här änget.

Eng. Stenkyrka local history association was founded in 1931 and had from the start only 25 members. In 2018 it had increased to about 240 members and they have a lot of different activities.
A part of the buildings that are owned, cared for and managed by the association, can be seen in this homestead meadow.
This cache will take you on a small tour of the meadow and give you a closer look at some of the buildings and other interesting things that you will find here.
Please note! The given coordinates does not lead to the cache, only to the first stage. We recommend that you park on the east side of the meadow where there is a large parkinglot. Please don't drive into the meadow.
You need to gather information at the different stages to get the correct coordinates but the cache is only a short distance from here.
Steg 1. Nygrensstugan.
Det här är ett bostadshus från 1700-talet. Det är byggt i bulteknik och har en murad bakugn.

Steg 2. Tystebolsstugan.
Det här är ett fullt möblerat knuttimrat bostadshus från 1700-talet.
När flyttades det från Tystebols och invigdes? CD är de sista två siffrorna i årtalet +33.
Steg 3. Vägstenar.
Dessa vägstenar markerade förr gränserna för det vägstycke som ett hemman och dess invånare tilldelades ansvar att underhålla. Längst ner på informationstavlan står det ett årtal. De sista två siffrorna i det årtalet +25 ger dig EF.
Steg 4. Eken.
Här kan du läsa en liten historia som eken har skrivit. Om du räknar bokstäverna i rubriken och lägger till 73 så får du talet för GH.(Tavlan är borta. GH=83)
Steg 5. Hjulkorset.
Den här graven är från 300-talet e.Kr och låg ursprungligen i gravfältet Lilla Bjers. Den flyttades hit i samband med att en vägsträcka ändrades 1983.
Här behöver du gå runt och räkna ekrarna på hjulet. IJ är antalet ekrar -10.
Steg 6. Bulladan.
Den här ladan är byggd av föreningsmedlemmar och här förvaras gamla jordbruksredskap och andra saker som har blivit donerade till föreningen.
Hur många medlemmar deltog i byggnationen? Det antalet +35 ger dig siffrorna för KL.

Stage 1. Nygrens cottage.
This is a residential building from the 18th century. It is built in bole-technics and has a brick bread oven. It was moved from Helge in 1984.
You need to count the letters in the second sentence of the Swedish text and add 51 to get the correct numbers for AB.
Stage 2. Tystebols cottage.
This is also a residential building from the 18th century. It is fully furnished and built in dovetail style. The last two numbers in the year it was moved from Tystebols and inaugurated +33 will give you the numbers for CD.
Stage 3. Road stones.
These stones have once stood by the road and marked the limits for some farm houses. The inhabitants of the farms between the stones were then responsible for maintaining that part of the road.
There is a date and a year at the bottom of the information sign. The last two numbers of the year +25 will give you the numbers for EF.
Stage 4. The old oak tree.
There is a sign by the tree where the tree is telling a story about how old he is and that you need to watch out because some branches might fall down. To get GH you need to count the number of letters in the headline and add 73. (The sign is missing. GH=83)
Stage 5. The wheel-grave cairn.
This grave is from the 4th century AD. It was originally placed at the Little Bjers grave field, but it was moved here in conjunction with a road change 1983.
You need to walk around the grave and count the spokes of the wheel. The number of spokes -10 will give you the number for IJ.
Stage 6. The Bole barn.
This bole barn was built by the members of the association. It was finished in 2012 and contains agricultural tools and other things that has been donated.
How many members of the association built this barn. The number of members +35 will give you the numbers for KL.
