Geocache Description:

19 September 2019, 18:00 - 20:00

7th Annual Tapping into Geocaching Event

An informal Meet & Greet (and Eat & Drink) on a Thursday evening at The Tap Brewing Co. in Haverhill, MA. All ages welcome!

Join us for a Meet & Greet to see old friends and new, have a bite to eat, perhaps have a beverage, and trade some TBs or geocoins. All ages welcome! Celebrate the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall, and if the weather cooperates, enjoy the outdoor deck with a view of the Merrimack River and trains on the bridge across the river. The Tap is a brewpub restaurant serving their own beers and a full bar.

There will be a table for swapping TBs and Geocoins, and a raffle (prize donations gratefully accepted, though not required!)

6 PM to 10 PM, September 19, 2019 (Thursday)

Raffe at approximately 8 pm.

The Tap Brewing Co.
Address: 100 Washington St, Haverhill, MA 01832
Phone: (978) 374-1117

We will meet on the deck overlooking the Merrimack River (if weather permits) or in the dowstairs "Playpen" if it is raining, a large room with direct access from the parking lot level. You can enter The Tap via Washington St. and exit to the deck, all without stairs. You also can enter the Deck from the rear parking area by climbing the stairs. From the parking lot, there is a door to enter the Playpen without stairs.

There is plenty of parking in the area, including a large parking lot in the rear (50 cents per hour, 8 am - 8 pm) (see waypoint), on-street parking, and a nearby parking garage. The MBTA Commuter Rail Haverhill Station is also a short walk away if you want to arrive by train.

Please indicate if you plan to attend with a "Will Attend" log so that I can give an estimate to the venue, and so I can have enough souvenir buttons made.

I will be there from ~5:30 PM until at least 10 PM, or perhaps later in case anyone can't arrive early but still wants to sign the log. We usually hold the raffle around 8 PM.

Hope to see you there!
