I actually met up with Mira (Geocacher MMSM) after I did the leg work for this Mystery Cache and I was telling her how much I liked her Puzzle Caches (and she told me that she loved my creative hides too :-)
So with that in mind I decided to dedicate this new hide to Mira, A wonderful fellow Cacher and someone I consider to be a nice friend!
So you may be asking yourself.... "How do I find the Final Cache location Fred?"
So let me explain....
First of all here are some fake coords (The cache is not here it is only a starting spot to do the final math from)
N 43 27.512 and W 80 20.946
Ok jot that down, I will come back to it.
Now you have to go looking for Bananas, lots of them!
(Banana's are those long Yellow Plastic Tubes that cover Guide wires that come down from Hydro Poles.)
Starting at the Round-a-bout at Fountain Street and Kossuth Road Count how many Bananas you see only on the North side of Kossuth, all the way to the Round-a-bout at HWY 24 Hespler Road. (So to be clear, Bananas between the two round-a-bouts)
Count the Banana's that you see that you see on the North Side, even the ones that are on single poles (even those in front of homes that are single poles)
Do not count the ones that are on Hydro lines that run along the side streets,
When you know this number (X) add the number to the Fake North Coords.
N 43 27.512 +X =
Got it. Great, Next....
Now you will travel along Fountain Street from the Round-a-bout at Kossuth Road to Maple Grove Road...
Count all of the Bananas on the West side of Fountain Street.
Take that number (Y) and take it away from the Fake West Coords.
W 80 20.946 - Y =
This will give you the Coords for the Final and then you can go to that spot and sign in to claim the Smiley!
There is a geochecker here on the page that you can check your answer. If you get it wrong, you are likely only off about 3 or 4 bananas at the most, so at that point I would just change your answer 1 at a time until you get a green light. Even then if you are wrong you should be pretty close to the correct coords
Please be careful if you are driving along the roads to count the Bananas, It would be best if you have a Navagator with you.
