International Talk Like a Pirate Day is a parodic holiday created in 1995 by John Baur (Ol' Chumbucket) and Mark Summers (Cap'n Slappy), of Albany, Oregon, U.S., who proclaimed September 19 each year as the day when everyone in the world should talk like a pirate. An observer of this holiday would greet friends not with "Hello, everyone!" but with "Ahoy, maties!" or "Ahoy, me hearties!".

Come join us as we celebrate this fun, parodic holiday!!!

The Details:

Where: The Wharf Fresh Seafood Market and Eatery (827 W Jackson St, Medford, OR 97501)

We have reservations made so we can enjoy some yummy dinner and much, much more!! You'll have to pick up your own tabs though you scalliwags!!

When: Thursday, September 19th, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

***We understand that not everyone likes seafood, but we wanted to try and keep with the pirate/nautical theme and bring people to a fun seaworthy place. If seafood isn't your thing, stop by anyways to say hi!
