Euromast010: NL:
Beste Geocachers,

Aan alle mooie dingen komt een einde.
De "Euromast" is een project dat wij 2 jaar geleden zijn begonnen vanuit een intresse voor geoarts, en om jullie deze groene oase van rust in polder ten noorden van rotterdam te kunnen laten zien.

Helaas wordt deze rust steeds verder verstoord door de toenemende werkzaamheden in dit gebied. Hierdoor wordt de ronde steeds lastiger te onderhouden.

Vandaar dat wij helaas hebben besloten een einde te maken aan deze ronde.
Bedankt voor alle leuke logjes en favorietpunten die wij hebben mogen ontvangen!

Dear Geocacher,

All good things come to an end.
The "Euromast" is a project that we started 2 years ago out of an interest for geoarts, and to show you this green oasis of tranquility in the polder near Rotterdam.

Unfortunately, this tranquility is increasingly disturbed by the increasing work in this area. This makes the round increasingly difficult to maintain.

That is why we decided put an end to this series.
Thanks for all the nice logs and favorite points we have received!

Aankomende 2 weken tot 29/09/19 kan je elke week iets nieuws leren over een plek in Overschie!
Deze week gaat het over een kinderliedje over Overschie.

Toen ik aan het zoeken was naar een cache vond ik een afgescheurde pagina van een liedjesboek op de grond.
Er klopte iets niet aan het liedje, ik heb hem voor jullie ingescand, misschien weten jullie het?

AAN DE OEVER VAN DE ROTTE
Aan de oever van de Rotte,
Tussen Delft en Overschie,
Zat een kikvors luid te wenen,
Met een zuig'ling op haar knie.

"Lieve kleine", sprak de oude,
"Zie je ginds die ooievaar?
't Is de moord'naar van je vader,
Hij vrat hem op met huid en haar."

"Potverdorie", sprak de kleine,
"Heeft die rotzak dat gedaan?
Als ik later groot en sterk ben,
Zal 'k 'm op z'n falie slaan."

Nauw'lijks sprak hij deze woorden,
Of daar kwam de ooievaar,
Greep de kleine bij zijn lurven,
En vrat hem op met huid en haar.

Aan de oever van de Rotte,
Tussen Delft en Overschie,
Zat een kikvors luid te wenen,
Zonder zuig'ling op haar knie.

Puzzel

Ik had al snel door wat er fout was,
Tussen Delft en Overschie stroomt helemaal geen Rotte.

Welke rivier stroomt hier wel?

Neem de letterwaarde van de eerste letter, dit is A.
Neem nu de letterwaarde van de tweede letter, dit is B.
Enzovoorts...
Het antwoord is ABCDE.

Bereken d.m.v. deze tabel de waardes U, V, W, X, Y & Z.
Hiermee kan je het coordinaat berekenen.

V=C-E	Y=C-B
W=B+E	Z=D-B

This weeks cache is about a Dutch childrensong.

While searching for a cache, I found a lost page of a songbook on the floor.
There was something wrong with the song, I scanned it for you, maybe you know it?

**Since this is a dutch song, translation to english is difficult.**
**You can solve the puzzle without fully understand the song**

ON THE BANKS OF THE ROTTE
On the banks of the Rotte,
Between Delft and Overschie,
A frog was crying loudly,
With a suckling on her knee.

"Dear little one," said the old man,
"Do you see that stork over there?
It's your father's murder,
He consumed it with skin and hair."

"Damn it," said the little one,
"Did that bastard do that?
When I grow up tall and strong,
He will hit him on the face. "

He hardly spoke these words,
Or there came the stork,
Hold the little one by the side,
And eat it with skin and hair.

On the banks of the Rotte,
Between Delft and Overschie,

I soon realized what was wrong,
There is no Rotte at all between Delft and Overschie.

Which river does flows here?

Take the letter value of the first letter, this is A.
Take the letter value of the second letter, this is B.
And so on...
The answer is ABCDE.
