The Lone Pine at this location was planted on the 25th April 2015, was raised from see originating from the Lone Pine Battle Fields of Gallipoli in World War 1 and was presented to the Community of Kalangadoo on behalf of the Wattle Range Council by Deputy Mayor Mr Rob Dycer, in Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the First Landing by the Anzacs at Gallipoli on the 25th April 1915.
