Geocache Description:


This Multi Cache will take you from the newest temple in the inner city to the oldest and Chiang Mai's first temple. The temples you will visit to find the clues to this multi are all free to enter and most are not on the tourist trails. The best time to complete this Multi is between 9am and 4pm, as all of the temples will be open at this time. The total distance is just under 3km (1.8Miles) and should take around 1.5 hours.

A = answer minus 2
B = answer minus 2
C = answer minus 5
D = answer plus 2
E = answer minus 4
F = answer minus 19

Wat Sai Moon Myanmar - N 18° 46.916' E 98° 59.469'
This is the start of the temple multi. At this temple you will need to find the tree that has several covered Buddha’s that have been donated to the temple. Count how many there are. This is A



Wat Fon Soi - N 18° 46.962' E 98° 59.318'
Walk into this temple and turn left. There is a large door to the temple there. To get B you need to count how many guarding Nagas (picture below) can be seen on the roof and stairs in front of you.



Wat Jet Lin - N 18° 47.027' E 98° 59.273'
In this beautiful temple you will find large fish ponds where you can feed the fish. C is how much it costs to purchase a bag of fish food.



Wat Phan Tao - N 18° 47.266' E 98° 59.239'
This learning temple has a beautiful wooden temple inside (that is being renovated at the time of writing). Towards the back of the temple grounds is an unusual bamboo stupa. To the right of this as you are looking at the stupa there are some bells D is how many bells can you see


Wat Chai Pra kiat - N 18° 47.319' E 98° 59.101'
Inside this temple there are many frescos. Find the fresco with people by a gate / wall riding elephants. E is the number of elephants in the fresco



Wat Pan Ping - N 18° 47.387' E 98° 59.433'
This old an important temple was established 540 years ago. It suffered a fire in 2002 but has been rebuilt. Find the information plaque and find out how many Chinese bricks are in the dwelling base. This is F
