It's a busy little lane so this is best done as part of the walk, but if you have to do it as a drive-by, you can pull in opposite.
Gluckuk is a winzing who appears in the Neverending Story, racing to see the Childlike Empress in her Ivory Tower to warn her of bad news and ask for help. In the movie he has another name. If you can remember or work out the nature of his ride then you will have a brilliant clue for what you are looking for here.
This footpath is the remains of the ancient (original) route from Eccleshall, via Chebsey, to Walton (near modern Stone). The river has altered its course over the centuries and so the public right of way from here to Chebsey has been lost - there's no access any more through Fieldhouse Farm – and so the footpath dumps you off here on the lane.
