From 1965 until 2017 this park was the site of Cedarbrook Elementary School. The school was officially closed in 1971 to save money after a levy failed to pass. Shoreline Schools used the property for various things over the years, but did very little upkeep. It's last stint as a private christian school ended in 2017 when the dilapitated buildings were finally demolished.
Shoreline has no plans for the property at this time. The property was originally a wetland area, and it is our hope that it will remain an open space for the people of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park to continue to enjoy.
