“It’s been a comedy of errors. There’s no other way to describe it”
The 104-year-old bridge over the Rancocas Creek, next to Historic Smithville Park, has been closed to traffic since January 2017 because of concrete deterioration. Work on a $4.8 million replacement project began last year, but the project has suffered from multiple mistakes and delays.
It finally opened midnight on July 26,2019.
