NO ACCESS FROM MAIN ROAD, YOU MUST PARK AT KEY VISTA PARK for access. Back in 2010 when I started geocaching this was the 1st place that I introduced my dad to my new obsession. He lived right across the road in the housing development so this park was super convenient and quick to show him what my newfound hobby was all about. Not sure that he really liked caching 100%, but in the years since then we have always found time to go out to this park and many other places and just spend time together. Geocaching was the reason and believe he saw the value in the fact that it gave us time together. With my father's recent passing and with his funeral yesterday I set this cache out in his honor. There was a cache 88' from here which was his last hike in the park here in April 2019. I remember the 300 some odd foot hike back to the car from this location. My nephew fashioned a walking stick for him and he barely made it back to the golf cart. He was in so much pain from the cancer that was ravaging his body. He sat in his chair the rest of the day leaning over from pain. I felt the time was near and valued this time together and have a picture from this hike that I keep close to me. It meant a lot that he tried so hard and I had no clue it would be 4 months later that we would lose him. You are looking for a plastic ammo can nestled between 2 pine trees. Please cover up and hide from casual hikers. Inside the cache is a picture of my dad and I up at the Eternal Flame Earthcache near Buffalo New York. An amazing cache in its own right.
