Marby nya kyrka invigdes 1867. Den ersatte då den gamla kyrkan som var i dåligt skick och skulle rivas. Kyrkan byggdes 1863-66 av byggmästaren Johan Nordell i Norrala. Arkitekt var Abraham R U Pettersson i Stockholm. Kyrkan byggdes i sten och har ett rektangulärt långhus. Den har sakristia och i väster ett torn med spetsig spira.
I den gamla kyrkan är takkonstruktionen daterad till 1520-talet men delar av taket är äldre än så.Man tror att kyrkan är byggd på en tidigare kyrka från 1300-talet.
Marby's new church was inaugurated in 1867. It then replaced the old church which was in poor condition and would be demolished. The church was built in 1863-66 by the builder Johan Nordell in Norrala. Architect was Abraham R U Pettersson in Stockholm. The church was built in stone and has a rectangular longhouse. It has sacristy and to the west a tower with pointed spire.
In the old church the roof structure is dated to the 1520s, but parts of the roof are older than that. It is believed that the church is built on a former church from the 1300s.
