Doctors have found that imagination stems from a widespread network of brain areas that collectively manipulate ideas, images, and symbols. Creativity and imagination requires a widespread neural network in the brain. The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body. It also performs tasks that have to do with logic, such as in science and mathematics. On the other hand the right hemisphere coodinates the left side of the body, and performs tasks that have to do with creativity and the arts. How do doctors look at your brain? A doctor can look at your brain using a PET scan which is an imaging test of the brain, a MRI, or a CT scan can only reveal the structure of the brain.
Some geocachers may call him a "mastermind". What is a mastermind? A person who plans and directs a usually complex project or activity, esp. skillfully. A person who originates or is primarily responsible for the execution of a particular idea, project. Some geocachers may call him a "genius". What is a genius? A genius is a person who displays exceptional intellectual ability, creative productivity, universality in genres or originality, typically to a degree that is associated with the achievement of new advances in a domain of knowledge. Jim is a little bit of both and more.
Who is Jim??? Jim is half of "The Waysiders" a geocaching couple from Rome, GA. He and his wife, Andi, are two amazing people who oversee the awesome MEGA event "Going Caching". In my opinion, Going Caching is the best MEGA event you could ever attend. It's an awesome event with several other fun events during the week of October 2-6.
