First in a series of four the 'Advacetown Amble'. Advancetown's original settlement lies beneath the waters of the Hinze Dam. Above the water level sits the newer township. The cache is situated on a little peninsula that juts into the Hinze Dam. One can park here and launch a craft to enjoy the vista of the lake formed by the dam. There are many little peninsula to enjoy or see the many majestic mountain views around. The cache has three cousins across the way but this one can be found on foot. Be careful though! You may get your feet a little damp on the way if you're not cautious. Take in great views of the Dam Wall, the water and Page's Pinnacle in the distance.
