Let's spend the first day of October picking up cigarette butts and bottle caps and anything else we can find. Let's get this park cleaned up. Well, for the most part, this is a fairly clean park, but there are some problem areas. I don't like the fact that there are so many cigarette butts and bottle caps and pop tops all around the lake and by the children's park.

Where: Surprise Park (under or near the covering) <p>Parking: is easy on the north side of the Park (Bullard & Paradise La)
Please bring a garbage bag and gloves and WATER. I'll bring some extra bags too. Maybe wear a cap, or bring an umbrella to carry to shade yourself. A grabber might be a good choice if you have one, especially for those of you who can't bend down like we used to. Don't forget to sign the log book. We'll hang around for about 15 min to sign the log and then go and pick up the trash around the park and come back to the start & hang around & chat for a bit and share those geo-stories.
