Welcome to Funcoast Bash 6!

We will have a fun-filled day of geocaching, games, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, raffles, eating, biking, contests, info seminars, activities, meeting friends, making new friends and just a plain ol' good time that hopefully all of our geo-buddies and even muggles will enjoy!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Cell phone coverage is unreliable to nonexistent at this park and you WILL NOT be able to cache with your phone for a majority of the caches.

Schedule

• Registration will be open at 8:00 AM
• The Raffle will take place at 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM, and last one at 5 PM, make sure to buy your tickets early to get in on all the raffle drawings, more chances to win!
• Geocacher Bingo will be from 8 AM to 1 PM, drawing will be at 1:30 PM
• Poker Run 9:00 AM to 4 PM, winners will be announced and prizes awarded at 5 PM
• Geocaching Creed seminar 11 AM (Do's and Don'ts of Geocaching)
• New Geocacher classes at 1 PM
• Cache Container Cammo Class 2 PM – Bring your own containers or paint some of ours!

Items to bring with you to the event

• GPS, of course you can’t forget that (Bring your connecting cable to load the caches at event)
• • You WILL NEED to either have a GPS and or go with a group of cachers that do have a GPS!
• A PDA, tablet or smart phone to hold info about the caches (Description, Hints, D-T, etc.)
• Water, LOTS of water if you’re going out on the trail!
• A raffle item to donate (if you want to, but not required). It could be a matchstick holder, a roll of camo duck tape, a large bag of zip ties,a pack of batteries, a nano, a bison, ammo can, hiking sticks, geocoins, a tent, hiking or camping items, homemade caches, more or less anything to do with geocaching. We will hold a Special Raffle for those who donate, the Grand Prize is TWO (2) Fully Loaded, Cammo'd. Labeled, Log and Swag Filled 50 Cal Metal Ammo Cans, along with locks, cables and a SpaceCoast Geocache Store gift certificate (amount determined by number of donations)
• Pens to sign all those fresh new logs and/or stamp if you have one
• Bicycle(s), Kayak(s) or Canoe(s) to go after those types of caches
• Bug Spray, LOTS of it as well!
• Walkie Talkies if you have some
• TB’s, Geocoins, or other similar items to discover, share and/or trade
• And last but not least, A SMILE because we are here to have FUN!!!!

We will have check in and out of Travel Bugs and Geocoins. You can also bring your collectible TB's and geocoins to share (Discover) with other geocachers.

• Please try to CITO when you can and be respectful of the park and the wildlife.
• Please obey the park rules so that future generations of Geocachers can enjoy the wonders of the park and Geocaching!

• The park is open to the public from 8 AM until sunset and the entrance fees are below:

  1. Vehicle (2-8 People):$6.00
  2. Vehicle (1 person): $4.00
  3. Extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass: $2.00
  4. Motorcycle: $4.00
  5. Pedestrians & bicyclists: $2.00
