Geocache Description:


An easy park and grab. Easy to find, right off the roadway. Ammo Box.

 

Cache is an ammo box with marking for a Geocache. Contains some nice items I have accumulated over the last year including one TB which I carried for a while before cutting loose. Should be easy to find - a lot of folks like to break out the metal detectors and dig up mini balls and other civil war items left there during the battle of Bisland. Road crews working in the area of the cache unearth the remains of a soldier and respectfully returned him to his resting place. There is an Historical Marker commemorating the battle on the highway west of the location. Watch for passer-bys. Keep it well hid for the next guy. PRONE TO HAVE STANDING WATER! MAY REQUIRE WHITE RUBBER BOOTS!!!!!
