A Rua da Reboleira, cuja designação data dos séculos XIII-XIV, é uma das mais típicas da zona ribeirinha da cidade, mantendo ainda o traçado tipicamente medieval. Nela se conserva um núcleo significativo de casas medievais, particularmente a nº. 59 que apresenta uma estrutura de casa-torre. Também na Reboleira podemos apreciar o perfil inconfundível das habitações antigas do Porto, e constatar a durabilidade da aparentemente frágil técnica da construção em tabique, que permitiu erguer, sobre um andar térreo em granito, três ou quatro andares sobrepostos que sobreviveram até aos nossos dias.
