This cache is placed as part of the Central New York Challenge Trail 2019. There are 52 geocaches hidden along Route 11 for approximately 9.5 miles.
This cache is at the posted coordinates and is log only, so bring your own writing instrument. The physical log must be signed prior to posting your “Found It” log, and you must also have met the challenge requirements. If you sign the log sheet before meeting the requirements, just post a note stating that you signed the log and don't meet the requirements, then log your find when the requirements have been met. Any “Found It” logs not meeting the challenge requirements will be deleted.
All hides are considered to be a Difficulty rating of about 1.5. The terrain rating varies which is reflected in the different caches. The D/T listed is taking into consideration the qualifications for the challenge.
The challenge for this cache is you must find at least 50 caches each of any seven types of caches. Allowable cache types include Traditional, Unknown, Virtual, Earthcache, Letterbox Hybrid, Multi-cache, whereigo, Webcam and Event (with event being the total of all your various types of events- CITO, Mega, Giga, Block party, Lost and Found Celebration)
