Q: What did the wolf say when someone stepped on his foot? A: Aoooowwwwww!
When a boy or girl is in 2nd Grade (either joining new or moving on from Tigers), they are a Wolf Scout (howling encouraged to celebrate finding this cache). When a boy or girl is in 3rd Grade (either joining new or moving on from Wolf Scout), they are a Bear Scout (howling encouraged anyway, because it’s more fun).
To earn their Wolf Award, there are six adventures that must be completed that include things like going camping, learning how deal with earthquakes or floods, learning a square knot, identifying animals or evidence of animals, doing a community service project, going on a hike of at least a mile, and drawing a map. They also need to earn at least one elective adventure, which can include things like making a collection, making paper airplanes, learning about disabilities, learning about dinosaurs, doing a scavenger hunt, growing plants, visiting a fire/police/EMT station, or swimming.
Congrats to Pezgirl22 and Forbez on the FTF!
