This cache container is a Pop bottle Preform. It has a water resistant log in it so if it is damp or wet just wipe it off on something dry and sign in. There is no writing stick so you are going to have to bring your own along to sign in, remember no signature no cache. This road is definitely a 4x4 road in places so the terrain level is going to be higher. If you are going to be like us and drive in you will do some pin stripping to your vehicle. Remember This area is bear and cougar territory so be aware and stay safe.
I came down to Port Renfrew for a day of caching on the Labor Day long Weekend. I was hoping to find a few caches that I had not found the last time I was down the way and I ended up placing some caches. I was looking for a way into a cache near here that I missed the last time and could not find the trail head down on the main road. I came up this very overgrown road hoping to find a trail head up here however no such luck. The views up here are very nice and standing tall and proud down below was Doug. I had to place a cache up here for the view. I do not know how long it is going to last due to the road already being over grown, hopefully for a while. This cache is intended to be a quick and easy find so the cachers are sure to find it and then take some time to enjoy the view. I hope all enjoy it as much as I did.
