The Rio Grande Valley Geocachers and TaxProRGV invite you to our 2019 Geocaching International Film Festival at the Speer Memorial Library in Mission, TX. -- Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Description:
A low-key event for local geocachers and friends to get together and celebrate the "2019 Geocaching International Film Festival" and earn the souvenir, meet one another, tell geocaching stories, swap and discover TBs, and generally have a good time.
Who:
Why You, of course..... whether you have one cache find, thousands of cache finds, or none, please feel free to come join us for a fun afternoon. Bring a friend!
When:
Saturday, November 16, 2019
1:00-1:30pm: Socalize, trade trackables
1:30-2:30pm: Watch film reel
2:30-3:00pm: Raffle, voting, and cake
Where:
Community Room behind the circulation desk
Extra things to keep in mind:
- If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at the event, please make sure you log it out so it doesn't remain in the event list.
- Bring something geocaching related (value < $10) for a raffle. Only those who bring an item will receive a raffle ticket.
- Cake will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own popcorn / snacks / drinks to consume while watching the film.
