This method of placement has been approved by Concordia Facilities Management and should be a quick find but may require a second thought as to how to retrieve the log. As always, stealth will go a long way to keep cache placement a secret. There are no TOTTs required, and you do not need to pull the beacon out of the ground to access the cache.
This was placed with permission near Old Main, an academic building built in 1906 during the early years of Concordia College. Established in 1891, Concordia was founded by a small group of Norwegian-American Lutherans. From its start in a second-hand building with three professors and twelve students, Concordia has grown into a highly regarded liberal arts school that recently celebrated its 125-year anniversary.
If you look to the south of GZ, you'll see the Campanile Bell Tower, placed in the heart of campus. The legend of the bell tower, constructed in 1991, is that if a person walks under it alone, he or she will be alone forever. If two people walk through the tower together, they'll be with that person forever.
Special thanks to Trycaches for the help with this container. If you enjoyed this cache, I'd recommend a visit to Gilby (North Dakota) where Trycaches has hidden many fun and unique geocaches.
