Drift: This cache that depends on clues set some years ago. There have been many changes on the Quayside and there are more to come which makes the clues irrelevant. When I get time I will set up another similar cache.

Two location cache with clues derived from photos
This cache comprises 3 parts:-
A.Solving clues from a series of photographs and recording your answers in a grid
B.A little bit of simple arithmetic to lead you to a microcache
C.Finding the final cache.
Neither the microcache nor the final cache lie in the vicinity of the Quayside. You will need a car to get there.
You will need to download and print the 2 images “collage.jpg” (The photos) and “grid.jpg” (The answer Grid)
The co-ords given above is a car park from which you will begin your short easy walk that ends at N54 57.878
W1 36.672.
Car parking charge is 60p for 2 hours. In the course of your walk you will see each of the nine structures contained within “collage.jpg”. Write your answer to each of the following clues in the answer grid.
1.What brand of lubricant (7 letters)
2.The ship’s brand of lager (9 letters)
3.The full name of the Chief Engineer (8 letters)
4.The full name of the male eloper (9 letters)
5.What kind of House? (6 letters)
6.What kind of soup? (HEARTBREAK).The cafe "Heartbreak Soup" which was in Baltic Chambers has now gone so I have had to supply the answer.
7.Surname of the Mayor (5 letters)
8.Central city?? (10 letters)
9.Who’s needle?
Having written your answers in the grid you now need to calculate the location of the microcache, which is at
N 54 56.???
W 01 38.???.
To achieve this, the question marks must be substituted with the answers to the following sums.
In the case of North (1B,9G,8F) – (2F,5D,8F)
In the case of West (9G,3E,1B) – (6J,8F,3E)
The appropriate letters you have entered into the grid should be translated to numbers using the key attached to the grid.
