The middle-aged church of Gercse (somewhere Gercsény) was built in the 12th century, rebulit in 1774, despite of this at the end of the 1900s, when we were wandering there it was rather ruinous.
It was renovated in 1996, and since Easter, masses and weddings have been held there.
