This is geocache that will bring you to a special spot overlooking a small pond and barometer mountain. The best access and parking is to either park at the end of the gravel road at Buskin River bridge number six or park near that Nimitz gazebo. Walking is fairly easy but one should be Bear aware and make noise. It is possible and very pleasant to do a 5K loop on these trails. These non-motorized trails are great for walking, Skiing or snowshoeing, or mountain biking. One will find old World War II bunkers and lots to explore. This is part of the Fort Greely military base that was developed during World War II. A walk for dogs or kids. It is possible to get to the pond from a trail on the north side.
