The Foley Mountain Conservation Area has suggested that we help by building nesting boxes for endangered rat snakes. You will NOT be handling the snakes, just helping construct the houses. They will supply the wood and some tools and the plans, but if you have a power drill that you can bring, that would be helpful.
The event will take place during the fall 2019 CITO souvenir period. It is being set up in accordance with HQ's request for something more interesting than just picking up trash, however if we get more participants than expected, we may pick up litter as well. Please RSVP by the 14th so I have a headcount for the manager.
