Karekare; like it's neighbour Piha is a very popular West Coast Beach . Especially for surfers ...and is very busy in the summer .
These beaches are very dangerous, so don't swim alone ...and only between flags when lifeguards are on duty .
Was enjoying a walk down this way 11 days ago down to Tunnel Point Cache ...( which is great fun to visit if you haven't got it yet )
Plus there are 3 other great hides nearby ....
Decided to put a nice easy one in before you walk down the beach to the other caches .
Always lovely walking through Pohutukawa Glade .
Only a few paces off the path on right at base of a multi trunked pohutukawa ....( if car park behind you . )
Tucked in and covered with bark ...please rehide in same way . A medium plastic Container with Camo Tape .
